Will a K6 750 slipper clutch fit into a K1 750?

anyone tried this conversion?
If so, was it sucessful or worth the hassle involved?
I can't find any info on the WWW.

Won't fit, k6 has smaller diameter clutch basket than the k1 along with some other things that are different.
