Kawi brought the 636 back

I'm gonna apologize ahead of time if this is in the wrong section....

Just picked up a cycle world magazine, Kawasaki is bringing the 636 back for 2013. They didn't have much info about it. Does anyone have any more details about it?

I'm a diehard Suzuki guy and I wont be trading my 1000 for one, but I've always been fond of the 636. They're great bikes.

Completely agree.
Though, it's kind of old news about the new 636, bike looks absolutely sick!

the new 636 should have an awesome package... i wonder how long it'll take for the rest of the 600's to catch up in terms of what they offer

O my bad, that's the first I've heard about it. It does look really good. Price is said to be $11,699 and add another $1000 if u want abs. I just can't imagine paying nearly 13k for a 600

It looks very similar to the new ninja 300 that came out. I also agree that the last gen 636's where the best looking ninjas. I really liked the undertail exhaust they had.

Hopefully not long, however most thought that of the 1000's, but so far honda, yamaha, suzuki haven't really stepped up to the area of bmw/kawi so who knows.

I can't say never, but I probably wouldn't own another Kawasaki, I do like the '03-'04 636, almost bought one new.

A blue original 636 was the bike I was searching for after my 250 I ended up stumbling across a GSXR that was a pretty good deal and here I am

Not a fan of the new design direction of Kawasaki. They just look odd IMO.

The front looks too upswept



The nose doesn't look sleek with those weird shaped headlamps.



The ZX6 looks a little better but not by much



Maybe the front overhang is too short....

You bet it does! It felt so much more composed in the corners. Öhlins made such a difference.
