I'll join in here is my chocolate lab gixxer he is 65 pounds now at 6 months old last friday. Not planning on using him for hunting and he is inside all the time unless I'm at work. I wash him at least once a month and because he is inside most of the time unless he is running around town with me he doesn't stink. Also have a cat named Zuki same thing I clean her box out once to twice a week and she bathes herself so she doesn't stink either

We almost got a free one, but wanted a laid back dog. Not a nut job lab. So I/we dished out a good amount. Well worth it though. Example A of this dog not caring whats going on

No I don't think so. Our dogs are a part of our family. Dogs have always had a special place with man. They are so loyal and loving. Not nuts at all.

Yeah, you posted that pic before. Your dog and his sire are both excellent examples of what a lab should look like.

he seriously will just sit there content. He knows hell get a treat for it I dont usually like to clothe my animals but sometimes I just cant help myself lol

I never had a dog I would not risk my life for. It really makes me wonder because during this storm a lot of animals were abandoned, I dont know how people could do such a thing.

I love the stockier labs(english). Probaly the only kind Ill ever own. They are more $$ but their demeanor/look is worth it IMO

I know. I never get how some people dont have feelings for dogs. **might seem like a double standard to some because I dont get how people can be affectionate to cats

Nah. I like my cats, but they are no where near my dogs. Cats are independent and couldn't really care less about you.

Ill probaly just have a dog instead of kids Honest reason, they take less responsibilty and arent going to give you as much trouble in raising as a kid

Edit: I love German Shepherds. There is a K9 officer that is always at the dog park and he has a beautiful dog. So agile.
