I am somewhat of a coffee snob. If you like the taste of coffee and not just the caffeine, you have to get one of these.

Its called a chemex.

Med school is 5 days a week. We have class from 9 to 12 and afternoon activities from 1 to 3. We also have 1 clinic day a month for the first two years.

They don't allow us to work during school so they allow us to take school loans out for the cost of living and not just the cost of tuition.

Ya. We have a special class that teaches us how to write chicken scratch.

Now that we have Electronic Medical Records and Electronic Scripts our handwriting isn't really a problem anymore.

Short answer: Yes

It depends on a lot of things though. After I graduate I have to match with a residency program. If I do match, then the specialty that I chose has to be fairly non-competitive for me to not find a job. However, I want to be a surgeon and I shouldn't have any problem finding a job. Especially with the ACA, there will be a lot more people seeking medical help so the AMA is actually predicting a shortage of doctors for a few years.

Edit: My national board score will also determine if I can get a job. If I fail the board one time it crosses out like 16 states I can practice in.
