Power is still out. Sucks. Phone died last night. Fortunately I went to bed right after the power went out, so when my phone died and my alarm didn't go off, I wasn't screwed.

Something happens to mine every year.
3 years ago I needed a new thermostat relay.
2 years ago I needed a new aqua stat relay.
Last year I had something leaking.
This year I needed a new thermocouple for the gas valve. The pilot went out on me.

How many people in your house? Do a high eff. Wall mount with an on demand hot water heater. Unless you have more then 5 people. Look into the buderus logamax plus gb152
