I'm trying to find a high intensity LED to use as a shift light with a Cordona PQ8 quickshifter. Cordona has their own Batwing shift light. Batwing has an Everlight high intensity 5mm LED.
http://www.cordona.net/batwing.htm
That Everlight led is no longer available, Cordona bought rest of the stock.
PQ8 outputs 3.5V and Batwing's led is 200mA.
This is the closest one I have found
Cree XR-E P4
Luminous intensity max. typ.87.4 lm (max.:160lm)
Forward Voltage typ. 3.3V (max.3.7V)
Recom. forward current typ. 350mA (max.1000mA)
Do you think I could use that and it wouldn't damage the unit or can I use a resistor to make it work?
