time to start this up. we are about 3 weeks out from launch. i hope it goes over well. so far, there are great reviews on this game. then again, MW3 got great reviews too which turned into a mess as the game went on. im not too big on futuristic shooters but this one seems to be more appealing now.
i am an avid fan of Black Ops 1. i felt it was very balanced with a few over powered items but Treyarch put a lot of thought into it. i love the fact that ghost cant hide from the SR-71! strafe shooting seems way easier in BO vs MW series too.
i just dont know if another $60 every 12 months for the same type of game is worth it anymore. i know MW and BO have their differences, but they also have a decent amount of similarities too.

Black Ops was terrible, will not be purchasing Black Ops 2
i liked it much better than MW2 at the time. felt more balanced and kill streaks were much more reasonable. i also thought it was fun leveling up perks too.
Def. not as good. I don't even think I will be picking this up. I have gone back to playing FF13/13-2 while I wait for Assasins Creed 3 to come out.
EDIT: I just watched the trailer for it.. Now it has me thinking.
i dont think it will be a bad game. im heading to NCOA next week and be back right before Xmas so i will tell my GF to "surprise" me with the game for Xmas on xbox
i might not play it on PC because the hackers are more rampant on PC than on XBL. i play MW3 so much better on PC than i do console but it is just ridiculous with the hacking in most matches.

I'm still debating this one. I might rent it instead of buying it right away. I'd be kinda pissed if I did the same thing as before. Buy the new one, say fuck it, and go right back to BO
Oh and JetBlast, have you ever considered just using a converter to play console with your PC controls? XIM3 and I believe EDGE has been released out of beta as well. I know quite a few people that do it that way.
Confident PC gamers that can still wreck in console because of them.
