You must have started riding after their quality went to shit. They used to make some good stuff. I had a 1995 CBR900RR with their slip-on (bolt-on, actually), C2 "Countermeasure" carbon fiber canister. It rivaled any Yosh or Akra product...I'm talking a tight weave on the canister, machined billet inlet cap and cast polished aluminum end cap with the de rigour spout-style tip of that day.
This is an example of one of their long-discontinued old-style aluminum canisters:
They had a few pretty good full systems back then, too. The headers and collectors had nicely finished welds.
I don't know what the hell happened between then and now, but it seems that the company shifted their focus towards Cycle Gear sales and Bike Night squids.

ive been using 2 bros sence the days of mike velasco...then i guess you know that yosh was makin exhaust for craig and kevin erion((untill the split in the 90s)) and still use yoshs r.d till this day.....ive tested and tuned more then a few of there late model exhaust and i even have a new M-5 muffler on my old 600F2. and they work and still have great quality to them..all though i do agree that they changed there markiting alittle and squids seem to love them..
Looking to switch my current set up. Love the throaty and deep sound of the two bros, and love the shorty most of all. ( not really wanting the "longer style" exhaust anymore. I have a Yoshi TRC Stainless exhaust system, im looking at doing a Two Bros shorty carbon fiber...is there anything from the yoshi system that i can swap over to the two bros, or will i have to order addt'l parts. Also, im looking around online at the obvious sites ( EGay, Kneedraggers, motomummy etc ) whats a great place to get exhaust thats the most reasonable on the wallet? Any and all advice is appreciated
call jason at stg or corey at motomummy directly. a slipon or can for a full system doesn't matter on the k6 bikes, and ffs, do not touch 2 bros. they are junk. there is no r&d in their product past seeing if the headers will fit the ports.

one. i have one on the racebike, and i am displeased. the logo is fading/peeling after one season, and it sounds like shit. that does not even include the fact that i have sound regs at the tracks i frequent, and 2 sisters have no idea about the sound rating of their systems. i called them directly and the same guy that appears on all of their vids that they have on their site (main tech or whatever) told me straight-out that they have no idea about what db their slipon will spit out on a k6. after 6 years, they had no idea about sound rating, not even ball park, nor do they know what kind of power difference there is.
i left it because there are a few others that go to the same track that have them and i assumed i would pass (barely), but i am not pleased. i often get comments that my bike is the loudest in the paddock, and it is imperative to me that i change it over the winter. the only systems that i will consider are m4, akra, or yosh. if you want obnoxious, unknown performance (even admitted by the company) then fill your boots with 2 sisters. if you want a product with proven r&d, get yosh.

If you want the shorty look cut your muffler down (it isn't hard). Heck with a couple nights work I cut mine down 5 inches and mounted it under the bike. Two brothers are garbage they are for the straight line cop calling starbucks look at me crowd. In the end though what any one on here thinks (myself included) isn't important get what you like.
