Loving my new GSXR 600

About a month in and Im loving my bike. Still trying to find a better way to deal with the vibration but other than that I love it. The handling is amazing. Now i just have to figure out what to do first with it.

ameliorating vibrations is a fairly common practice and there's quite a few ways to do it. look into it if it's causing you prolonged discomfort as it can cause nerve damage and a slew of other ailments

Yeah i have been looking into it. Someone on here recommended heavy bar ends from the hyabusa which i've tried but still does not work and some mentioned gel grips so im looking into those as well. Any suggestions?

Fix your body position and stop leaning on the bars. I'll bet the problem is technique and not mechanical.

I have shogun bar end sliders on my bike, no weight to them at all and I just don't get all these complaints about vibrations but if you can't get it sorted out maybe try the VIBRANATOR.

to add to the above, move the weight off the bars by holding your upper torso up with your legs (gripping the tank) and your core and rely on your hand inputs only for steering (stay loose). otherwise, vibranators are quite popular

I have been playing around with my riding position and finding the best spot gripping the tank helps some but after 30-45 min I still get the numb hand. It's a big diff from my Gs500

Thanks I was actually thinking of painting it but I'm starting to like the yellow and black.

Not to hijack your thread, but is it normal for the windscreen to vibrate when idling? I just noticed this recently and wondered if its normal.

That's a good question because I have been debating making a thread about something similar for months.

My issue I believe is from the twin brothers exhaust slip on that was on the bike when I bought it. Somewhere around 5,000 RPM, I start getting this vibration and annoying rattle up around the front left-hand portion of my front cowling. I believe the vibration is occurring right around the opening where the mirror exits the cowling.

Are there any products, or something like seals to help deal with this? Sounds like you have a similar problem. Dumb question but have you tried tightening the screws around the windscreen?
