For 4 years I have not been answering the door. This year I might get candy on my way home.

I'm usually not home on halloween but this year i just turned off the light on the porch and nobody bothered knocking. I was in the living room watching tv with the blinds closed and surround sound turned up so i'm sure there was noise.

I know as a kid, I really looked forward to Halloween. This year, not only did they miss Halloween, but they also had to deal with the aftermath of the Hurricane. Maybe I am soft on this because of how upset my niece was when she found out there wasn't going to be a Halloween

I bought candy for the last few years and had no one come to the door. This year I bought no candy and I have trick or treaters all over the neighborhood. I got called into work and plan on hiding here for a wile.

The FREE CANDY van outside probably scared them away

That van is loud when it is cold out. I started it and ran it Sunday for an oil change.
Thought a rod was coming through the block.
I still have to change that fuel filter soon.

I knew you were going to reference the van you currently own. That's not what I was getting at. I was jokingly referring to you parking this outside

nope! Only the garage, raising the house last year MOST definitely saved it
About 1/4 mile from the ocean I'd say...
