Re: Gauge cluster is trippin!!!
Guys this is a point in the front harness where all of the grounds Meet Up, and they are all connected using this Copper plate. the wires get hot melting the plastic connector and loose the connection. try cleaning up the plug, wires, ect. Im having the SAME EXACT problem on my new 05 Gsxr 750. i actually dont know if this connects to anything though. it seems like all this does is bring All the grounds together, heading down to the main harness connector with, I Think, One ground. this should not be a Permanent fix though, i dont think.... Something made these wires hot, that somthing isnt fixed, only the connection. ive been reading Everything from The Geek. Checked my starter button today, checked the main clip. with a VERY little bit of green corrosion. No bent pins or burns on the gauge. Somehow it looks like we are some of the FEW with this problem causing our troubles. No headlights, no turn signals, no dash, besides the neutral light. Although the Horn does work lol. Please let me know if you guys find or found Anything on this Thanks! -Sean
