There was prolly at least 2 guys that helped still it... If your sure you full left locked your bike??....Im pretty paranoid about my bike. I live in a condo and its stored in my car port and the general complex is private... But still

But 2 things to keep in mind. If I lived in any city I would expect more thieves around, and 2nd any apartment style areas with no place to properly to keep a motorcycle is a NO NO in my book.. Hoodlums and white trash are always looking a for a easy score.

Bottom line is dont trust no one and thieves will have it coming to them someday.

that sucks man. one of those things about riding a sport bike...gotta have full coverage insurance to protect your property. just like having medical insurance!

well, for your next bike check state farm for their rates. I also thought I couldn't afford full coverage on my '07 600, because I was getting quotes around 1,300-2,000/year from geico/allstate/nationwide. State farm got me full coverage for $328/year.

when i got my cruiser, i was quoted $700 a year for it through progressive. i go to GEICO and it went down to $300 a year. i didnt bother to ask state farm

Sad sad! I just hate it when you work hard to get something and someone comes and steals it from you like that. That really pisses me off when you think about it like that, but that's how it is. Sorry bro I hope you get another one.

i dont think we have state farm in MA i beleive i checked. This is also why i dont have full coverage either. Everyone quoted me atleast 6000 a yr.

Bro I can not be more sad to read this post.

I had the same bike, same Color, and same situation. No comprehensive coverage, no choice but to park outside my apartment. and bloody it gets jacked at 11AM. Apparently someone saw a person riding it out. so yeah my bike wasn't thrown in a truck or anything. It has been a week, damn cops dont respond my voicemails or pick up my calls. so yeah guess ill just eventually have to move on and ride a bicycle now. . 6K$ , lost in the sea after a month.

i think a lot of people dont think about getting full coverage insurance. they can "afford" to buy a bike but cant afford to buy insurance on top of it? i went insurance shopping before i bought my bike. i wanted to know the rates prior to purchasing one because i knew that was a major factor in purchasing a sport bike. state farm quoted me $500 a year for my 09 GSXR600 when i first purchased it.
