man, the wife is anti gun, but thats mostly because she is not knowledgable/ignorant about them. luckily we now live in area that if some disaster were to happen i would hope the crime rate stays down. but with the family now, its time to get her on board.

Same. I tried to take my wife to the gun range to at least get her comfortable handling one and so she knows how to use it, but she hate it. She is afraid of them and wants nothing to do with em.

I agree 100% but population density is the issue. In a long term or permanent event the city folk are going to migrate out to the small towns and bring the full retard with them. Like it or not you will have to deal with it too.

Mine was too. I had told her that i was going to buy one and she was against it. I used to sell tons of car parts on craigslist. I had an altercation with one of the guys and after that she gave the go ahead which was great because coincidentally i had already ordered it

I have a gun and so does the lady. We do need more rounds and next year I am building an AR15. I've never been a gun person or world will end, but people are just batt shit crazy these days on a larger scale.
