2005 gsxr600: Radiator fan

Hey everyone,

Im having a bit of a problem, ive got an FI light on my bike I got someone to run the light and it said its the secondary throttle sensor, but no matter what when ever my bike is on my radiator fan is on. Could this be the reason for the FI light? Does anyone know what sensor or if there is a common issue on these bikes with them being on all the time? It doesn't effect rideablity, just kinda annoying to have on.

No. Totally unrelated. If you're not the original owner of the bike, it might be hotwired. If you are, it's probably the thermal switch for the fan.

what would the reason be for hotwiring it? Its not causing any issued but its kinda annoying and embarrassing when I turn the bike on.

No true reason. For some reason a lot of people think they need the fan on a switch or constant on.
