we are in the telecommunications industry. When ever we rip out old equipment, or have scraps of cable, and wire, we save it. At each quarter we take all that scrap copper to the recycle place and get money for it. Usually adds up to about $1000 or so.
Most of the lunches are steak, chicken and shrimp. This time it was someones birthday, so they asked her what she wanted.
we can't drink while on the clock. All of our christmas parties are catered with booz. Our owner is very old fashioned and won't allow anything that would harm his business in any way. hence, no beer at the lunch. Our cook is a great guy, cooks everything to how everyone wants it, and is super cool.
I work for a great company that is for sure. I miss traveling and working for them, now i just sit in an office all the time. I sure do miss the road perks and perdiem!
