I agree, for 97 you didn't have the split/brushed look on the side of the tail and tank.

graphic on the tail is a bit different, this kit has 2 u shaped for each side that one has a single u shape that wraps around

No, its the same, the other 2 parts go over the cowl, you just can't see it in the pic.

oh I see so theres 2 stripes coming down the back of the cowl, yea thats it then.

looks like I would do an all white paint and either leave the tank all white or tape it off and do the dark blue then a little strip of dark blue on the nose and a then a chunk on the side fairing and do the fender..

Yours and the first kit are 96 T model Mr Smith. 97 had carbon fibre in place of the orange flashes on the nose and tail and the blue side stripes were squared off a bit. The oem Suzuki kit is around 32 seperate pieces.
