rear shock question

While tearing everything apart, I notice that there was oil in the air line that goes to the rear shock, although it was very minimal it made me bring it here. I also read that some guys drained the oil to lower the bike, if this was done can the oil be replaced?

Thats how mien was when i got it, they let out all the pressure to lower the bike. i believe there are a few different places that can refill the shock. i suggest just replacing it with a shock from a newer bike. I got a gsxr1000 shock in my 95. Its sooooooo much better the old one.

I replaced the rear shock in my 93 with an 05 750 shock and it was so much better. little better spring rate, plus you can get rid of that remote reservoir... i also opted to remove the black bracket that it mounted to ditching a cpl pounds.

so wil a 06-09 750 shock bolt up without too much trouble?
