Talking A little Old School Yosh porn for you all!

Well after working around all the issues of transferring the large .pdf file off the network copy/scanner here to a flash drive, I've finally managed to get my full 1989 Yoshimura USA catalog scanned to a high quality single .pdf file and thanks to Ragnar and his download site, it is now available for all to enjoy!

Thanks for posting the catalog, I added it to my Yosh file.
I'm curious, what was the heat shield priced at back in the day?

Re: A little Old School Yosh porn for you all!

Those prices are just so not right to know... not now... not in this market - or this day. I even saw the price of the Tornado tank was something like $600-$700.00 ... and if you can even get one today - you might be looking at $3,500-$4,000.00.

Brutal. Hey - did anyone see Doc? He was just here a second ago in the DeLorean!! Dang - he's gone and done it again. Back to the Future to get an aluminum Tornado tank!!! @*&$%#!

Re: A little Old School Yosh porn for you all!

well in 1989 I was in college, so scrounging up $60 was nearly impossible to do anyway, especially when I was making $4.50/hr in the summers!

Yep... and I should really learn how to make my own tank. Do you think a winky can be transformed from a website, into a real personal worker? (man... it's been a long day LOL).

$666.25 was the original price, if I remember correctly.

And new ones can be had for around $3,000.

Buy one now, as in another 25 years, $3,000 might seem cheap.

Good work man! Just to be organized, I moved the '89 stuff over to the Slingshot Login and renamed the catalog " '89 Yoshimura Catalog" to match the format of other stuff I had there. Cheers!

Sure was exciting!! Wow, I've never seen such... um, lack of speed on that track. I wonder if the average rider's heart-rate was up slightly, with anticipation on braking early in the first turn? The de-fibrilators must have been close at hand !
