hard to start

heya.... i got a 97 Gixx 750.... and the girl's very hard to start...
it seems she gets flooded every time or something... and when it finally starts, it's got the tendency to die, unless i keep on the trottle... NE ideas?

Re: hard to start

Everytime you start it? Just when it is cold? once it is started does it smoke, if so what color?

When was the last time you changed plugs? Maybe your coils... what about your air filter?

Re: hard to start

Are you using the choke when you try to start it?

I would also say your floats might be off a bit.
