Reading thru old posts regarding the install of Fox TC shocks in 750’s. I am working out a similar problem myself. My project : 1986 750 for NexGen class with AHRMA. The Fox TC shock measures 315mm eye to eye. OEM shocks are 300mm. I purchased this shock for next to nothing, sent it to RaceTech, Matt Wiley rebuilt it, and I am just now working thru the fitment. I should know better after so many builds to check and sort these projects before moving forward.
After reading so many posts, it looks like everyone is working with shocks that are the same length as OEM.
You worked this out with a FOX TC, do you remember the length of your shock?
Any chance that having the 1100 rear cushion lever will fix my problem?
What about going with the entire 1100 setup, swing-arm and lever? Looks like the 1100 swing-arm is beefier in the lever area.
    Thanks,
    Stephen
