what octane should I put in my sv650s. Or does it not matter????

it is rated for 87, any more is a waste. if you have a passenger, 89 woudn't hurt. Track use, 89.

My bike runs just as good as 87 octane as 93 octane. I head that your bike runs hotter on higher octane because it's a twin.

I find that I get more power and milage with higher octane gas. Here you can't get anything below 92. I normally use 95. Last year, on vacation in Germany I tanked only 98. Hey SVS, FYI, you guys use a different rating system over there in eaurope for gas, your 92 is roughly our 87, etc.
