On my 01 750 the clutch is very stiff. I've replaced the clutch, fibers, metal plates and springs for a racing clutch. Then recently I've replaced it with the stock fibers and springs. Both times I've had the result of this stiffness. I've used cable cleaner and sprayed that down the cable too, however the clutch is still very hard to pull in. Does anyone know any reasons for this to happen and what needs to be done to correct it.

There is a linkage arm at the end of the clutch cable inside the left sprocket cover it is called by Suzuki the "clutch release screw". Its pritty easy to replace, but if you have never done it, a service manual will come in vary handy for replacing and adjusting after install. Good luck:cheers

Your definatly binding... You need to adjust at the engine....
BTW, stick with the OEM steels and fibers... you wont find anything better. Stay away from Barnett.
