First off, I know this is a female section, so don't bash. I just don't have to many female friends, to talk to about this, so bare with me. We all have a same pasion for ridding, so you are all like sisters to me. All advice is appreciated. Here it goes...


I have been talking to this girl, and we both like each other, but there is a little hitch. She just got out of a bad relationship, and isn't really ready to date again. She has done said that she likes me a lot, but doens't want to date right now, because she wants to go out and party, and just have fun. I told her, that I would in no way keep her from having fun, and her reply was that she didn't want to do anything to upset me when she goes out. I told her that the only thing she could do, would be to cheat on me, and that is about the only thing that she could do to upset me with her. I told her, that I didn't car who she went out with, as long as she didn't do that. Then she said that when she drinks, that she just lets her self loose, and has fun. Said that she usualy doesn't realize what she is doing until after. She usualy goes out with friends, and said that they keep her in line a good bit.

I love this girl to death, and I am happy everytime that I see her, or even hear her voice on the phone. She went out of town for a few days to a funeral, and I didn't get to talk to her on the phone like usual, and I was lost as to what to do. All each of us do, is make the other happy everytime we talk, or see each other. We do pretty much everything together but screw, so it is almost like dating. Every time, that I hold her, I feel like I am in another world, and nothing matters except her.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO!!!!!

What would you all suggest on the situation? All advice is appreciated.

Let me get this straight, you're not technically dating but you'll get upset if she 'cheats' on you? How does this work? If you guys aren't in a relationship how is that cheating. I understand that you may have a connection, but obviously she isn't ready to commit.

It's a tough situation that you're in. I'd be a little weary though, from personal experience when girls say " I just want to have fun" she means just that. She's definitely not ready for a long-term relationship, especially if she just got out of a bad one. I'd say have fun with her, but be on your toes. Also girls always feel bad about hurting people's feelings, so don't misread that when she says she doesn't want to do anything to hurt your feelings as to, she'll never fool around with someone else while she's drunk and having fun. In a party situtation where booze and guys are involved and she's not bound to you, anything can happen.

So go into this knowing that possibly it might not pan out as you would like it to.

It sounds to me like she definetly got hurt in her last relationship, Im sure she probably really does like you, but like she says isnt ready for another relationship. Something isnt there for her and thats why she is unable to commit to you, even though you feel fulfilled with her. Have fun with her, enjoy your time with her, but keep in mind that if your practically dating but you dont have a title, shes keeping her eyes open.

Hit it and enjoy being this months flavor of the month!
