Calling for 60* weather on Friday, wooooohooooo... Anyone not working on Friday? I dont work Fridays, and want to ride most the day, starting around noonish. Already have one other riding with me at at noon or one and not sure where we are riding yet. I will want to be back in Eudora to meet up with Meg around 3:30. Then we are planning on riding out to meet up with some others at HWY 5 at 5:15-ish. if its remotely nice sat ill be riding. im off so im good to go whenever. wont be taking the bike to freddy t's though before the question is asked. who else is down for sat?

What do you guys think Hwy5 will look like? I know most of the back roads around here look like crap with the salt/sand. I would assume Hwy 5 will be the same, if not worse. Any opinions? Do you want to stay local and just cruise(clover leaf/brookhollow), or hit some twisties(hwy5)?

I was out on HWY 5 on Monday, had the white discolorization from the salt, but nothing loose, actually in pretty good conditon. Its not like the middle of the summer or anything, but definately worth the ride up. Not sure if they put more salt down with this last round of ice/snow, I will let you know tonight....
Me and a few others are heading that way today, leaving Eudora at about 3:45-4:00, anyone interested just let me know... Darrin
