Actually, when I picked her up it was quite nice out. +5 with the windows down on the 401 going through Toronto...

Those pics are all from Saturday, when motherfuckin'nature decide it wasn't time for spring like weather yet... http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

As far as the truck is concerned, it's a rental http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I'm hoping to get a pick up this fall... my girl is all about the pickup truck too! She's not a redneck either, so it's cool by me! http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks for the kind words guys... I can't wait to take her out...

What happened to the idea of the trailer? I was thinking after that you could have probably used one of those cover U-hauls.

I had to rent something to get there -- I don't have a car.

I was banking on my father's minivan and a trailor, but he was out of the country and not an option.

Either way, the pickup ended up being the most cost effective way to bring it home.

You got it at boyds in Listowel?
My friend lives right near there. They have awsome prices.

Boyd has a crazy hayabusa turbo, that I saw him run at Grand Bend. he could only go mid tens, cause hte bike would go sideways then just hook like crazy.
It was nuts. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/burnout.gif

Yeap, that's the place.

Richard (2wicked) tells me he's building a new Busa that should be quite impressive... I'll let him spill the beans. Either way, he's a crazy mofo...

Yep, he got it from Boyd's, and actually Richard is working on a new Busa, and hopes to put near 400 at the rear wheel, try and keep that straight. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

He had actually posted about that just after he joined this site.

Hey karl 1052, the bike actually was running mid 9s and I got it as low as a 9.20 at 162mph. Its really a bitch to launch a turbo bike, you either smoke up the rear tire or the front end slaps you in the face off the line. All this was also done foot shifting on street tires, this year I will be shooting for low 8s, maybe high 7s. Stay tuned, last years bike was only a baby. Thanks, Richard
