I seek advice for the selection of a new front end for my RZ350(84 yamaha watercooled 2cyl 2stroke squidbike) The common fix for the low quality of the weedwacker's front end of the is to fit a FZR600 front end. But FZR600 forks are not very good either, Any GSXR fork is better!!!
But - 86 -87 use weird size wheels with small axles, 750s use the good Showas, USD forks cost big bucks

So I think, for a reasonable price, I can bolt together 88-89 750 forks and triples, any wheel and rotors 88-95(600,750,1100), any calipers 88 on(600,750,1100). Bolting it onto the RZ may be anoither matter. My question is - did I get it right, can I mix and match withiin this range.

Thanks

This may help you as well How To. (http://www.gixxer.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB5&Number=35260&page=0&v iew=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1)
88-89 750 forks will be a good choice for your app. as they are fully adjustible but lighter than the USD forks.

Wheels from 88-95 750 and 89-97 1100 are interchangable but the 88-89 750 rear wheel is 4.5in wide with the rest being 5.5in. With the 95 750 wheels being the lightest. brake rotors are interchangable through those years as well. As your bike is light you probably do not need the Six piston brake calipers.
