Wish I did..

My g/f did her's with a friend and 2 guys from work just got though there. They all had fun with it but, they all said it wouldnt have had half as fun by themselves.

BTW I have been told that if you have your permit already you can take the 1 day course for only $50

Good luck!

Darn! Looks like I just missed em... Who told you that you could just do the Single Day class for 50$? Is that still the begginner class or is that the intermediate one? (If you know)

The four of us should meet up sometime and go for a ride, you and your girl and me and my man. You and my bf even have the same bike! =) What is your girl riding and where are you guys from? Me and my bf are out in Gresham.

My gf had been into riding quads for a while so she knew how to shift. She went to dmv and got her permit, told me she wanted a bike, and we found her a 99 R6. We lowered it 1" so she can almost stand flat footed.

After riding for 8 months or so she did team oregon. It improved her own confidence, my confidence, and her riding skills.

yeaaa your going to be worried.. my girls been riding for almost a year now and Id say I worry less now but, recently she is riding by herself (a whole new deal!)

from what my buddy told me the intermediate class was the 1 day'er, however he took the full course.

I'm sure we would definatly be down for a ride. We live in Gressham too! Best chance would be a weekend, we both work like crazy!

I'll post a few pics of our bikes

Nice Bikes!

Ive never ridden a bike before, or quad for that matter... Until i bought my bike this past weekend, lil Kawi 250... and i LOVE it. What really sold me on the 250 was that...

a) i orginally went to look at an 03' kawi 250, for $2200, and ended up with the brand new 06 kawi 250 for only 3k! thats only 800$ in depreciation over 3 years! So i figure ill get my bearings, learn some skills, and upgrade next spring, or whenever i feel confortable to upgrade.

b) it fit me perfectly, its only 300lbs wet and i can sit flat footed and throw it around a bit. I figured that would be great to help me out learning how to handle a bike, not while riding you know... cleaning, oil changes, moving it around... etc...

Heres some pics of our toys!

Weekends work best for us too... I work days and my BF works swing... If you dont mind me asking, how old are you and your gf? And where did you guys go to school at?

I graduated Gresham in '03 and my bf graduated from Gresham in '99, Im ALMOST 21! (Next Wednesday, the 17th is my 21st bday) and my bf just turned 25.

Thanks!

Yeah the flames came stock... =) Uhhh... Errr... I mean its 'cuz the 250 is wicked fast! Hehehe... Is your gf on gixxer.com also?

Check out that hefty undertail/fender that came on the Kawi... Yikes! That baby's commin' off ASAP!

We totally need to get together sometime and ride! Give me a few weeks and i'll be ready! Ive only had one good afternoon up on it, our driveway sucks, i cant get outta 1st gear in it, and our house is on Stark, and im not ready to brave the 500ft of it to get to the neighborhoods behind my house to practice!!! Dammit! And my bf works nights so i dont even have anyone to ride me overe there... But ohh well, the weekend is near!
