with out an after market oil pick-up? I am getttin better every time I pop it up but, I have been concerend about how long I can ride a wheelie before I run into oil starvation issues. I have an 05 600 BTW.

i've done a wheelie for a mile usually several times on the weekend atleast a few times, and never had problems.

granted I can't do a wheelie now for 20yrd but you get the point. If your worried about it, i'd just do something about it.

Almost 10,000 miles on my '04 Gix 600 now, with a nice chunk of those put on the bike while it was at balance point.

If you're concerned about it, overfill your oil about 1/3 - 1/2 quart, or get the extended pick-up.

Personally, I overfill my oil a bit, these are strong bikes, and I give my motor a lot more hell than 3 mile wheelies...

I'd say i'm more worried about my gearbox crunching on me than my motor taking a shit.
