Aint for sure about the CA course but in VA the MSF course waives the test at the DMV for the motorcycle endorsement.

Hope it helps out.

I just signed up to this forum but i mite be able to help

On the msf board it says this for california.

CALIFORNIA

800-799-8088 (Within California)
831-623-2434 (Outside California)

I went with mycyleinstructor which is cc riders or something like that. To find the closest place call 1(800)227-4337 they use msf material and if you take the class they'll give you your license certificate. When you call the number its this automated thing to find your closest location. It ask for your zip code and some other stuff. When you get your closest location number just ask them if they use the msf material and if they give the license certificates just to make sure. The place that i called cost 75 if your under 21 and 200 something if your over. Good luck.

I do not know much about CMSP but it is derived from the MSF course. Most State programs are. Here in Alaska the MSF couse will waive both the written and riding portion of the DMV test, you just take your completion card to the DMV and they give you your M! endorcement.
Any Rider education is better than trying to learn on your own.
