Denver took Jay Cutler at 11 with a trade up using their 15th pick and the 38th pick (which they traded for using their 22nd pick that they acquired during the off season with the free agent fiasco).

Plus they traded for Javon Walker!!! Even better than T.O. IMO because he's every bit as good w/o the poor attitude (aside from the little contract thing which is a drop in the pan compared to the shit storm T.O. has managed to stir up over his career).

It seems these days you can find great wide outs but finding one that will be a team player is harder to come by. If it doesn't work out there he will be done in the NFL. On the other hand if it works out he maybe the best there is out there.

If he produces and keeps his mouth shut (Shanahan doesn't take any shit) he'll get paid. We'll know pretty quick if it's gonna work out or not. With the weapons on that team he'll shine and have a great chance to win a Super Bowl. Amazing how people are content on teams that win games. :biggrin

I think Walker is an excellent fit for this aging recieving corps. He should be able to make some big plays with the time that O-Line gives the QB. Now if only you guys could get Jake to throw the ball to people in the same colored jerseys.

IMO Jay Cutler is where you made out the best. Personally I think the kid is coming into camp as the no. 2 QB. If he picks up the offense quickly, the Denver running game is working and Jake struggles look for Jay to make an appearance this season.

Don't worry Johnson has calmed down a hole lot. It was so quite when he got traded so you guys will be ok. Also, in the draft in my oppinion you got the best running back in DeAngelo Williams from Memphis so you guys are going to be something to deal with in the future with a little help at the line
