i was wondering if a 750 or 1000 head would fit on an 01 600 gsxr

bump for the same question.. im looking into a 600cc gsxr 2001 the kid saying it has a 1000 head on it i this possible or is he bsing me

They shouldn't. You run into valves overlapping the cylinder walls, not to mention the coolant and oil passages wont match up. I have already attempted this on the newer bikes heh.

well wont boring it out fix the overlapping porblem? I dont understand why the oil and coolant passages wont work. Isn't the 750 a 600 with bigger pistons/valves??
