:confused :confused Ok here is the story, my friend is in the service and has a tl1000r.. its been sitting for some time now.. Hard to start up, sure that’s just gas and plugs.. but the clutch doesn’t do crap, you can pull it in and put it in first. but there is no grab, you can feel a little drop in the rpm's but its like being in neutral ..the only thing i could think of is, he could of used the wrong type of oil.. something thats causing it to slip (a very serous slip) any thoughts? a new ebc clutch is only $70.. so i'm hoping its that, but in the back of my mind it seems like it could be more serous.. any help at all, even telling me to knock and blow on it would be helpful.. thanks

If it still has the hydro clutch and he has taken it apart such as to change the counter sprocket the bolts holding the clutch piston will back out causing the clutch to slip. try tightening them and see if it helps. If it does then back them out and and a little lock tite.
