808fastbikes 04-23-2006, 09:18 PM My gixxer's (04 600) front stay snapped today while we went to practice wheelies and stuff. I was going to get one from the local suzuki stealership but I was wondering if anyone knew if they make a sturdier (is that a real word?) front stay. If some one knows something or where I can look please send me in the right direction. THanks a million.. 808fastbikes Gixxykid 04-23-2006, 11:13 PM well someones knows but i dont know where to get it. for now all you can do is have osmeone TIG weld your old bracket or get a new one from Oneidasuzuki.com for cheapest i found. but i had my friend weld mine and i just spraypainted it gloss black, it looks nice again kern0079 04-24-2006, 07:44 AM A new one will break again too. I asked on another forum what the braces on the top are for? http://www.racing905.com/products/Stunt%20Stay/04%20GSXR%20stay%20bar%20011.jpg People tole me it is for things like high chairs e.t.c. I ride the bike everyday and it seems like the top braces would block me/my vision if I needed to tuck under the windscreen. How has the 905 held up to the abuse of stunting? I just bought a new stock one yesterday but if this one gives way then I will need a new one again:hammer . And will be looking for something better/stronger than stock (905 maybe??)
