Anywhere from $450 to $900. Not many floating around Perth usually so you choice is limited.

expensive mofo's they are! but well worth it if you like to give that right hand a good work out http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif i had taken the oem one on my sevenfitty for granted until i jumped on an R6! brutal little bikes they are.....!

SP-1's are generally quite well behaved arent they? http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Go the Ohlins... Drizzt just got one on the R1, he had a good deal..shoot him an email and he might be able to turn someting up for you...when he gets out of bed.. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

yeah i highly recomend ohlins, they can cost between 500-1100 if the bike needs a mounting bracket, which no doubt the SP does since it does not have one stock. I had one on the TLR and they are mandoraty on the R1

Ahhh - Tank slappers are half the fun. They remind you that you're still alive!

Ahhh - What doesn't kill you can only make you stronger.

I replied to your post in Anything goes about the worst one I had that pushed the front calipers out so I alos lost the front brakes for a bit after I came out of the tank slapper. Had to roll to a stop with just the rear brake and keep working the fronts until I got the calipers back in place.
