Man I am having a run of bad luck with technical shit.

First up a few weeks back my PC starts playing up.
Hard disk ? IDE cable ? mobo ? vxd files going screwy !!

So I had it opened up surgical style adding back one bit at a time, swapping this and that...

Now the friggin network drivers are fucked and it keeps trying to reinstall my

Won't talk to my other PC. I've done this shitloads of times - shouldn't be this hard !!
Plus it takes like 5 minutes to boot up - dumb fucker.

Then yesterday I go to use my DV cam and it's fucked !! Fucking fuck fuck.

I play a tape and it's all fucked up - mosaic style. Then says "TAPE UNPLAYABLE ( OTHER FORMAT )".

So I gets the cleaning tape thing going... once... no improvement... twice... no improvement...
You're only s'possed to use the cleaner 3-4 times max in one go... I try again - no go !
Then I read on the 'net ( another PC ) a suggestion of playing a tape for like 30 mins - as the heads
are 'self cleaning' - 2 hours later no improvment.
Fuckin' fuckin' fuck poofter bastard fuckin shithouse fucker.

I keep that thing in it's box stored properly all the time - don't leave tapes in etc.
It's 14 months old...

I swear I nearly smashed the shit out of my PC and DV cam in the last 2 days.
