I ordered this from Ebay last week and it arrived today. It is a nice piece with excellent instructions but it sits to low for my liking. I also had to custom make a bracket to fit my plate on the bike because Mass plates are wider than most, which was a pain. I made a make shift elimintaor from sheet metal and I should have just kept it it looked alot nicer.

Just thought I would let you guys know from first hand, I am going to TRY and return tomorrow.

IMO not worth the money

I dont know if they are going to hit me with a restocking fee and what not. I am already going to pay to ship it back to europe so that might be a good idea

I will post pics today, if they dont let me return it.

That might be a good idea, the plate sits to low for me. Thing is I have had my own eliminator for a week now and it is mounted underneath the tail so I am used to the look, maybe I just have to get used to it.

Here are some pics off the aution itself. Fitted mine a couple of weeks ago. I think it looks quite trick although your plate doesnt butt right up to the tail section due to license plate light that needs wiring. Ive wipped off the rear pegs and put a smaller plate on and the back end looks a hundred times better than stock.

looks like you have to drill holes in the middle of the license plate itself for it to work.

Thin T-Bracket mend plates from Home Depot or Lowe's work to allow you to use the actual plate holes. Depending on how you bolt them up you may need a small spacer between the plate and bracket to keep it off the bolts.

FYI...I contacted Evo Tech about an adapter bracket for US plates and then said all new eliminators now come with them. Good customer service and support for US plates, so i ordered. Installed last weekend and it looks great - with the adapters you can get the plate to sit high and tight - without drilling holes in the plate.

Here's a close up of the bracket on mine. I had to drill holes for my plate to mount it though.http://f5.putfile.com/5/14223214752.jpg

I know, I missed that hole for the wire to go through, but I don't feel like taking the tail off again :)

Very cool. Since I helped him with all the dimensions I guess I should send an email and see if I cant get the adapter sent.

I was thinking of finishing off my evo tech with a thin black license plate frame instead of just going plate only...seems like it may blend in even better with the tail.

anyone else have this setup? anybody know where i might find a good license frame? i have searched google, ebay and every bike shop that i know of and all i can find are the huge ones with logos like your fav sports team or something...
