So what is the stock sprocket size for the 06 750 front and back? I can't find my owners manual and I was wanting to go down 1 in the front to give me some more low end grunt. Thanks

No you don't need to buy a new chain. He's offering the 525 stock width sprocket. The chain will only need to be adjusted slightly.

I did -1, +3 on my 03 600...was very impressed. I would like to do it to my k6 750 as well, whats the most i can do without having to change the chain...how many cani go up in the back without needing a new chain, if i go down one in the front?

Has anyone with an '06 600/750 changed their gearing? I am looking to make the switch soon and would like to get some opinions of how the bike runs after the change. Especially since I will be running at my local drag strip and am interested in how hard it will be to launch and keep the nose down on a 750. Right now I have no problem riding the clutch to keep her relatively close to the asphalt, but I am concerned that going +3 in the back will make her a handful to keep down. Any opinions or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I just got my bike back with -1 in the front. It feels pretty good.
Def. makes for alot better sit down roll on the throttle 1st gear wheelies.
And also helps out a ton with the mid-range.

:cheers Eli
