: Which blinker fluid should I get?

So I'm close to pulling the trigger on an 06 750 and my first mod is going to be to swap in some new blinker fluid. Can you guys tell me which fluid is best? What's everybody using?

Is this a hard mod to complete myself? My dealership says they will do it for only $120. Does that price seem fair?

Don't forget to use Armor-All on your tires for grip.

Definitely go with the semi-synthetic. It costs a bit more but will make you much smoother in the turns. Your dealer should be able to install in a couple of hours.

Nice job...let me know how the blinker fluid works out. Does anyone know where I can get industrial sized Armor All? I ran out after the second coat on my rear tire.

Thanks.

the best mod so far for the k6 750 is a chocolate radiator and wood grain for the guages... best blinker fluid would have to be pee, ive done this mod on my 92 civic hatch with 8 in. exhaust and its got a wing bigger that the car... and the pee blinkers just set it off gave it like 12 hp at the wheels

Dude you can get like 2 gallons of Armor All Tire shine at costco for 11 bucks. I've gone through 2 buckets already at the flat track course on my gixxer.

I'll post my new times after the awd conversion!!

how often do you have to replace the blinker fluid? ive got over 700 miles on my bike now and havent done it yet. will it ruin my blinkers? are they expensive to fix? and i put armor all on my seat, but only one coat. that enough

Man, that is the funniest sh1t I have ever read. Nearly pissed myself, but I'm saving it up for when my new 750 comes in. Better be quick, I must have enough for 4 bikes by now.

Personally, I've always used regular halogen headlight and blinker fluid.
I'm going to try the High Intensity blue stuff this time. Less susceptible to freezing I'm told (was -4 on the ride into work this morning, blinkers were freezing up).

id be carefull. i hear the mirrors are expensive to fix if you tip the bike over. i hear you should stay away from the 06 gsxr's for that reason. :D

The key to real performance is in the fuel: add some water. Just think about it. When H2O splits due to heat, it becomes oxygen and hydrogen. Oxygen is necessary for a combustion reaction, and hydrogen, well, we all remember the Hindenburg.

Water + Gasoline = Top Secret Race Fuel. :D

the first thin u want to do is remove the exhaust bearings.. and take out the kinifler pin that way u can tune the flux compasitor
