What is everyone doing with the front Reflector? I can un-screw the reflector, but what is everyone doing with the metal part that sticks out?

Use the tool kit and unscrew the bolt and reflector, comes off real easy

the screws underneath the bolt will fit up top. i went into the local dealer and got two more screws (3$) and put them in to help hold the fender in place. looks much cleaner then having those two things sticking out plus the fender is still sturdy.

ok, but will the fender still be sturdy enough?

Yes it will be sturdy enough. But, it would look better by buying 2 new bolts to replace what you took off.

Ya thats what I think I will do. U guys know if the other bolt beside it is the same size? If so, I can just buy one from the dealer eh?

I took the standoffs off... and used the screws that mounted the shitty mudflap in the back to mount the front fender back down

This is what I am doing too, I hate those bloody reflectors!!:mad My bolts should be in next week sometime... along with my new signal because mine is condensating. :(

why dont you just go to home depot and match the threads and buy some screws it will cost like a dollar. Or if you take off the mud flap see if any of the screws you are not using fit. The big question is why pay that much for some screws for the dealer?:wtf

Like I said, the mudflap screws fit fine. and are FREE considering everyone takes off the damn mudflap:hammer

i never thought about trying the mudflap screws and ive already paid for two others. considering i spent 9k on the bike, 3$ didnt seem like a hassle at the time. i tried home depot and lowes and couldnt find two that would fit. for those reading this and thinking about doing it, just use the mudflap screws!! haha....

+1
Once you do an undertail mod you'll have two bolts left over. The heads don't match but the length and thread size works fine.
