I just got a 2006 gsxr 600 and it only came with the back seat not the solo rider attachment. Are you supposed to get both or is it extra.

yes go back and demand it. Both come with the bike

You get the solo cowl as standard. I'd ask your dealer where it is :P

Thank you guys. When I was leaving I even asked the guy who took me out to my bike and he said it was extra. I asked how much and he said about $150. My last bike was a 2000 gsxr 600 that I got at a different dealer and they did not give me one either. When I sold it the guy that bought it said it should have came with it so I was not sure. I will be going back to get one. Thanks again

I went to the dealer and talked to the original guy that sold me the bike and he gave me one for free. I got home and it was the wrong one though. I'll have to go back again tomorrow I guess.

yep comes free with the bike, not free from the dealer. Tell him to throw in a free oil filter and oil since he's being generous.

That's absolutely retarded (I love that word now) for this dealer to act like that... try riding down there with a backpack on... put the solo cowl on your bike (to ensure it is right) then put your seat in the backpack. I would not recommend that dealer for any work on your bike as they are shady from the get go.. Just my 2 cents.

I got mine two days before I received the bike

I got mine. The bike had the seat on it in the showroom, and when I bought the bike my dealer went to the back and got a wrapped up peice and handed it to me. It was the cowl and he was all "yeah man, every GIXXER comes with one"

Mine came with the solo tail on it and I was handed the seat in the wrapping and told that it came with the bike. And they threw in oil and filter for my first oil change!! :D
