Just wondering if anyone has some good suggestions for a good route to take.
We are riding from Brisbane for the WSBK but have to go through Canberra to catch up with a friend.
Last time I rode that trip we went the coast road all the way this time we want to see as much as we can and keep the ride to the twisties as much as possible.
Any ideas?

Sorry cant help you, but that should be a nice trip, I was thinking about coming over but stuff got in the way, maybe for the MotoGp in October. Have a great trip.

Option 1: When you get to canberra, continue south until you get to cooma. From cooma go along the Snowy Mountains Highway through Adaminaby and Kiandra to Tumut. Follow the Hume down to Melbourne.

Option 2: When you get to cooma, head to Jindabyne (6 finger, inbreed, hillbilly, my dad is my brother country). From there, go along the alpine way into victoria, then just wander down to Melbourne.

Option 2 is better if it is a short stay in Jindabyne (as in get through the place as quick as possible).

Thanks mate we dont intend on staying long in jindabyne. How long roughly will these trips take Km's etc....Can either option be done in 1 days riding

well from jindabyne there is a nice road that goes upto perisher i think the ski resort is. very fast and good twisties (sweeping corners) then go over perisher, head towards Great Alpine road more twisties etc come out head towards mnt beauty and over towonga gap (some of my fave corners in victoria) can head towards hotham, via omeo then towards melbourne, more good corners.. then cut down to philip island through gippsland via mirboo north, leongatha, korrumburra then to philip island
