Pit Bull's Website (http://www.pit-bull.com/)

The stuff isn't the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Top notch stuff and excellent customer service. That and there's always eBay but even the used stands go for good money.

You will not be disappointed.

if you ever are going to take these w/you to the track ect. check out morse's 'switchblade' stand, it folds up and is so much nicer to travel w. Made really well..

Sorry guy's I think PB are good BUT... are way too heavy and don't give you the leverage that Woodcraft does but are also just as sturdy.

when looking at a rear stand do you need to order spools as well for the stand to attach to? I guess I am confused about this as I have heard some talk of ordering spools and then also heard that spools are already on sportbike swingarms.

You have to buy spools 8mm

If I ever catch anyone trying to steal my bike out of my garage, Im going for the first thing next to the door - the pittbull stand.

Who is trying to take the bike is dead in 1 hit for sure :D They rock!

I have pitbulls. A lot of people on here like the Checkerd Flag Motorsports stands. I've never seen them in person. And they're cheap. Pitbulls are expensive, but you get what you pay for.

ill put my CFM stands up beside a pitbull any day. i have used both and the CFM stands are just as good in every way. plus they are half the price for a pair. you can also get them in spool or pad style lift.

FWIW - the Woodcraft front stand is the best in the business. PERIOD! (Ya have to wonder why Pit Bull changed there design on their front stand to a stand that resembles the Woodcraft)

quick question. my full shogun slider kit arrives tomorrow and included in the kit are spools. now if i order any of these stands, for example the checkeredflag set, do i still need to order their spools? and does the same go for any of the other stands? thanks in advance!

as long as they are 8mm, it doesn't matter

the 8mmk size is the size of the bolt that scrrews into the swingarm. it has nothing to do with the spool size that the stand connects to.

I am considering the checkered flag stands what is the "foot" style mean?

Fully adjustable on both front and rear stands with spool or "foot" styles available at no extra cost.

thanx

Foot style is for bikes without spools like my 2001 RC51.

So i dont have to buy the spools for 25 bux then to use them?

Is using spools safer?

thanx bro

$25 is a shit ton of money for spools! I'd tell that guy to go blow it out his ass. Spooled swingarms are more reliable than just schlepping the boots under the metal itself.

With spools, you know your paddock stand is in the correct place, every time.

Here's a question I'd like to ask. Delrin spools or regular metal spools? I got the the delrin ones from Suzuki. Kinda big and look a little goofey, but from what I've heard if you ever lay your bike over (the delrin spools) can help save your swingarm and what not.

They do help out. I only use the IRP derlin spools. Sorry I'm an IRP freak. They have great products.
