Whats up? Ive got a 2000 gix 750 thats has a salvage title and from what the dmv was telling me was that i need to get the vin verified by a certified person (state patrol) basically. But thay also mentioned that the bike needs to be road worthy. SO my question is what do thay look for. I can think of the obvious like head light, turn signals, and break light but heres another problem i have non stock front turn signals and a tail intergrator on the back. And a high mount hindle are thay going to say anything about this. ANY HELP on what thay look for would be apprecated.

I think you will be fine. I have some of the same mods on my gix (which also has a salvage title). I have the flush mt. signals and the integrated tail hook up. I picked her up last summer and everything went fine for me bro. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I have found that this can vary from inspector to inspector, so just take her down and get her inspected. If they fail her, then you know what you need to change (just to get her passed) then get some cheap stock stuff from ebay, get her passed and then just resell the stuff on ebay... dont really know until you get her inspected though.. good luck..
