Just wondering what everyones opinions are regarding best replacement bulbs (H-7) for the 06 750/600? I want something that lights the road better than stock ones without going to an HID conversion.
Thanks,

I always go with PIAA super white bulbs. Had them on my CBR and I loved em.

Hella do a Xenon ultra bulb in H7 and H4 , these are 50 % brighter than a standard bulb , shine 30 meters further than o/e bulbs as well ,ive run them in all my bikes , and wont dis colour the the head light lense , as the are the same wattage , :D

Under the head light above the front fender there are adjusters for hieght and spread using a phillips head screwdriver (see owners manual). Thanks for the info everyone, I think I'll try out the silverstars as they are available at the local auto Zone.

+1 i had PIAA in my 750 and they were great, tried silverstars in my 1000 last night because they were cheaper and they are not as bright or white..Go with PIAA EXTREME WHITE if you want the brightest that's not Xenon (HID).. Taking the SS back to walmart as soon as the PIAA's come in.

+1 on the PIAA Extreme white! I got one only for low beam on my new 750 and its perfect! Super bright, crisp, clear, and very white! http://www.autobarn.net/pih7exwhpl.html <-link for one. I paid like $45 for mine from local bike shop.
Oh, I also got the PIAA extreme white running lights- they compliment the PIAA H7 VERY NICELY!
:cheers Eli

Look in your manual its all there. U have to unbolt the screw to the gauge panel and move it out of the way. Once u disconnect it, then remove the rubber piece, then take out the spring and the bulb well come right out.

looks like you need 1 single filament H7, i single filament H9, and two wedge bulbs for the outers if you want them, probably w5w but i'm not sure exactly on those.

I just ordered the PIAA Extreme white H7 and he sold me the wedge bulbs as well. What am I missing now? I need an H9? I don't want any yellow bulbs ;)

So.. H7 Extreme white, Wedge LEDS, what am I missing? What do you guys recommend if it's an H9 I need now?

for h9 you can look for any piaa "white" bulb, umm mtech, silverstars, whatever

i like philips vision plus, but i dont know if they make h9. you'd be better off looking at what there is available as far as h9, and base your decision off of that.

If you can't find them at walmart or O'reilley try autozone.. They have the H9 bulbs.

Holy shit that looks awesome where did u get them???

cinder99
04-19-2006, 11:46 PM
The pic doesnt really do them justice, they are really bright, especially the high beam. got em off ebay. jdm m-tech's. they are rather pricey, but worth the money nonetheless. there not dot approved like some of the piaa's so you know they are really bright. the low beam is the super white, and the hight (projector) is the cosmos blue.

Sorry man I dont remember the seller. I checked my ebay and it was too far back to pull up. I think I gave around 60-70 bucks for both sets, I sold the bulbs I had left to a member here. Im from North Alabama.

cinder99
04-20-2006, 12:41 AM
yeah, h7 for the low and h9 for your projector. just search jdm m-tech or h7 and h9 bulbs, the m-tech cosmos blue will be the brightest and most $.

No The M-techs Are Just Replacement Bulbs.

For $300 you may as well get the HID's... Damn that's steep for bulbs.

Not sure where your getting $300, they're only $36 for the cosmos blue.

Ok i think tonight i desided that id rather spend the 200 on HID's and do it right the first time then to spend 60 bucks on some bulbs. HID's are by far way better and everyone knows it, so just do it right.

I went to ebay and typed in m-tech and they came up with these kits that run $300 bucks... No biggie, i'm glad they work great for you.. i have already ordered some PIAA bulbs..

later.
