After my last fighter ordeal didn't make it, this one will... it's the bike that I built for my friend last year out of 100% junkyard parts, and he needed $ so I bought it from him for what he payed. It needs to be re-inspected, so it'll be a truck bike for now until I get $

tonight I ripped the fur off, tossed the busted fairings, and installed the UFO light kit that was gonna be on my other bike. I just need to get the instrument cluster smaller to fit and then get it inspected...

i think it would be great to see how a bike progresses from start to finish!
maybe i'll see it sometime this year in the BC twisties. we're planning on a mid BC (kelowna, nakusp) ride this june. would be great to meet up.

Sure thing... I don't know if you'll see me riding on the streets since it's not street legal and needs to be inspected. I have my 99 Gixxer that I will ride this season as a legal bike, but it'll be only pulling wheelies now since the other stunts will be on the CBR.
I'll take some nice progress pics and I'll make a post here for you all... So far it's a truck-to-location bike, but that might change if I get some money, since I can't affort to insure two bikes.
Since that pic I've finally removed all the bloddy glue that held the fur on.. .that took a lot of WD-40 http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
I've installed some frame sliders (slightly used from my 99 750 http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif )

UPDATE... more shit cleaned, bodykit cleaned of glue and fur, speedo cut from cluster, but not mounted... bike has been heavile cleaned... but is still dirty in my eyes so I will clean it more this weekend...
