Anyone have anything good or bad to say about the Morgan Carbtune? Does anyone recommend anything for syncing carbs?

i use a mercury gauge i got from MCA - $160.00

Suzuki wants $500+ for their air ball guages. I reckon the mercury is better and more accurate due to the lenght of the thing - its eaiser to be accurate with it.

Mercury guages are the fway to go for the home mechanic.
Top teams have electronic vacume guages which cost somewhere in the vicinity of $2k. That is what I want for the shop.

There is nothing wrong with mercury guages, and they will get the carbs/throttle bodies 99% right.

Ive got a Carbtune II at home that I use...

VERY nice unit... When i was doing my research on them, I compared the mercury ones to the carbtune 'rod' style ones, and talked to quite a lot of people..

Reason I ended up with the carbtune II is because
A) - No Mercury
B) - The Mercury based ones can have the mercury sucked out of them down into your exhaust etc if your timing's way out, or you backfire.. (v. dangerous)..
C) - Cant ship mercury ones though the mail (at least not internationally)..

I bought my carbtune II from ebay from a bloke in the UK about 2 years ago...

If you need manuals / photos etc etc let me know...
