I bought an '05 750 off someone who had fitted gilles reatsets on the bike. He had it positioned in the highest and rear most position. I'm a bit taller than him, and I would like to put it in the lowest and forward most position. However, when I unscrew the footrest and try to reposition it, it appers that I don't have enough slack in the hose from the rear brake master cylinder to stretch all the way down and forward.

Has anyone ever faced this? If so, how did you solve it. I'm thinking I need to go to my local stealer and and buy a longer hose. But I don't want to go thru the hassle of bleeding the brake line afterwards. I would appreciate any insight anyone can provide.
