Gang, loms came up with a great idea that we should put together crash cards just in case. We all know each other by hanging here but NOT who to reach in case of something happening. I am willing to design and make laminated badges that we can all wear under our gear for our next trip. Each card will have everyone's info so no matter who the unfortunate accident might happen to we are all prepared.

Here are some of the items I thought would be the most important to have in case..... :
Full legal name:
Date Of Birth:
Social Security #:
Emergency Contact and Phone #:

Anything you guys can think of or other suggestions. If you feel uncomfortable with providing this info that's fine but I think atleast we should have someone to call in case of emergency.

I still think this is a great idea. Sounds good to me. Looks like you have all the important stuff on there, cant think of anything else it should say.

Its a good idea. I do the same with other fighters when we travel out of state or country.

How about including any medical conditions, ex: Diabetic, Heart problems, Allergic to medication, etc.

I think we should include our home addresses, medical insurance carrier and account number as well. If you know your blood type, etc.

Obviously, the ride leader would be in charge of contacting your emergency contacts, making sure the bike is returned to your address or the closest home of one of the riders. The bike is the last concern, but for the rider down it will be there immediate worry. Everyone should know that regardless of who is on the ride, the other riders will take care of everything and the ride leader and others will work everything out with the downed rider when they taken care of first.

Thanks for all the feedback gang. Loms, totally agree on the rest taken care of biz and dealing with it on the backside. Do we know anyone that does have a trailer or van that could help us in case of a bike down ? We have a box van at work that could help as a last resort. A tow truck company would be crazy expensive.

I have a new truck and I know Dragon does as well. If someone ever did go down, we could send someone to fetch a truck and return to get the bike. It would take a few people to lift it if it cannot be pushed up a ramp. Since it isn't able to roll up a ramp, I doubt it would matter if it was laying on its side. LOL.

A tow from the spars to Phx would be several hundred dollars, gas for a truck would be much cheaper.
