Hey people ... I really LOVE the 06' 750's and I want one pretty bad. I have been riding a 03' Katana 750 for about a year now. If was to make the switch what advise would you Gixxer riders give me?

I say get what you can afford, if you can afford the 750 get it, if not stick with 600 either will be plenty more than what you have now and handle MUCH better.

Hey I went from a 04 katana 750 to a k6 600 gsxr..........it is a night and day comparison between the 2 bikes. The gixxer 600 is lacking a little of the torque that you will be used to with the katana, but the balance and the top end power of the gixxer will blow you away.

After having the gixxer for a week you will relize how big of a tank the katana realy is.

Since the 2006 750 and 600 share the same platform and their weight is nearly identical it comes down to price and your riding style.

Assuming price is not a concern, get the 750 if you'd like a little more midrange torque and everyday streetability. If you like to ride GP style and enjoy using the gearbox then get the 600...

Whichever you choose, you won't go wrong anyways :)
