530 DID Chain (112 links)
Anyone know if the above chain will work with an '05 GSXR 600 with stock sprockets?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Kerry

will not work. stock you run a 525 pitch chain/sprockets. don't put a 530 chain over 525 sprockets...

Mummy, you have a DiD ERVIII & AFAM combination available for the K6 600 in OE gearing yet?

Ill elaborate... the 530 is a larger, thicker chain than the 525. It will likely break the teeth of your sprocket, if you could even get it to fit properly.

why would you even want a bigger, heavier chain? and usually the smaller pitch chains have more tensil strength anyway

While we're on the topic of chains and sprockets, anybody have a recommended chain size and tooth combo that improves the stock gearing on a 2006 750?
Like for my R6 I went with a 520 conversion -1/+2 sprockets. This was the perfect combo for an R6, it cleaned up the rev range real good.

Myself and several others run the 520 pitch on our 1000's. As long as you get strong, quality components they will FINE on a 600/750.

yup afam/erv3 or the rk gxw are great setups...i sell them for 195 to your door or 185 to your door depending on the chain you want.
in a week or so i'm getting a ton of afam sprockets in and chain kits...BLACK sprockets...
pm me if you're looking for a setup. i don't know yet, but what is the 600/750 new gearing? did it stay the same as 05? i'll hook you guys up this season just like last season!
i have some in stock already so contact me if you're looking for something...

Final drive ratio on the K6 600 is 43/16.
Black sprockets would be hella cool.

The gearing on the k6 750 changed to 2.647 ratio. Front sprocket 17 teeth and 47 rear. People also remember your speedometer and odometer will read faster when changing sprockets. I've used a yelow box before and now looking at the speedohealer if i change my gearing again.
